Starbucks is the largest coffeehouse chain in the world, but its website has a corporate-focused design that lacks the fun of their brand guidelines.


This design demonstrates how Starbucks could enhance its main selling points through improved interaction and illustration.



I plan to explore motion design experiments as the project progresses.

Pain points:

The existing Starbuck reward website lacked compelling value propositions to encourage users to join Starbucks’ membership for rewards. I found it easy to scroll past due to its dry presentation.

Selling the Point:

Starbucks missed a key feature of their product: earning points to redeem rewards. I learned to design with a focus on showcasing the benefits of rewards in a fun, engaging visual experience.

Exploring new ways:

Starbucks has a great design system, but it lacks web-specific guidelines. Experimenting with their style allowed me to reimagine the website with more engaging, user-friendly content.
