Experiments and writing that explore new directions in systems, tools, and product design.

After several years in fast-paced agencies space, I’m now shifting toward product teams where I can help shape tools — not just deliver assets. I bring experience in shipping visuals and systems at speed, and I’m focused on growing as a designer who values clarity, interaction, and long-term product thinking.

About

Alex Kauffman is a designer focused on clarity, interaction, and systems-thinking. With a BFA in New Media Design from RIT, he blends creative direction and product thinking to design tools that support thoughtful, long-term growth.

He’s currently exploring roles in product design and visual systems — aiming to contribute to meaningful products, not just fast-moving ideas. His dream role is helping Microsoft’s Accessibility team improve the Xbox gaming experience for diverse players — or working with platforms like Toast to make everyday payments more accessible for all.

Outside of design, Alex is getting into motocross (MX) as a new hobby. He also enjoys traveling to different countries, meeting new people, and trying unfamiliar things — always chasing experiences that expand perspective.
